Wow, only 5 days into the new year and we get a Breyerfest special run reveal! Say hello to Landler:

If you’ve ever seen The Sound of Music then you’re already familiar with the inspiration behind the name for this next model. The Ländler is a traditional folk dance done in ¾ time that was popular in southern Germany in the 18th century and is still popular during celebrations of German culture today. This partner dance involves lots of hopping and stomping and may have been a precursor to the more refined Waltz.
What a beauty! He definitely needs to join my herd. Could this be next year's matte/glossy split? He'd look stunning in gloss. And, wonder of wonders, he more-or-less matches the Germany theme! Watch, the next model they unveil will be a Fjord on Astrid. Haha!
The other Breyerfest special run models were revealed in rather quick succession last year, so dare I hope they do the same thing this year? I wouldn't mind seeing more models this week! I almost think they'll have to do another quick reveal if they want to sell VIP tickets in the same time frame as last year. I can't wait to see what else they have for us!
