We have a Breyerfest program! And a Collector Club Newsletter! Glory, glory hallelujah!

Even more good news, everyone! It's two weeks until Breyerfest, and we finally have a program for the event! Find it here. Among other things, it has schedules, maps, this year's raffle models (if you didn't see them last night or today), and more exciting stuff! I didn't see any unexpected reveals in the silent auction, except for this OOAK glossy blue pinto Rotating Draft from last year:

There's also the usual stuff like a vendor pack, gift baskets, Design Your Own Breyer, a full set of glossy Dark Horse Surprise models (makes one wonder just how random that stuff really is), and a full set of the Stagecoach Surprise models, once that gets revealed.

Anyway, I'm glad we finally got the program and can plan Breyerfest activities to our hearts' content! I suppose we'll go back into a dead zone until Breyerfest is actually upon us now that everything else has been revealed - let's hope Breyer has a few other things up their sleeves to tide us over. A reveal of the second Premier Club release for this year, perhaps?

In other news, the June Collector Club newsletter was released today! If you're a Collector Club member, check your inbox. There's an article about the Fun Foals treasure hunt from 2009, a giveaway of a glossy KB Omega Fahim, and this tantalizing sneak peek:

On first glance, I thought it was Wyatt, but the prevailing opinion online is that it's a flipped photo of a Forever Saige. It's supposed to be something for Collector Club members to look forward to, but if it's Forever Saige, the color looks a lot like the CC special run Moondance from a few years back. Maybe it's a web special?

FINALLY!

Good news, readers! We finally got something Breyerfest-related today - the reveal of the last few live auction models! Insert grumbling about how there used to be more auction models here. Anyways, here they are! Some of them are still weirdly cropped. There are a few lots still to be revealed, such as (presumably) the raffle models and the live show grand and reserve prizes. But anyway!

That's a Strapless done as a sooty palomino with, well, puzzle-piece dapples. At least that's what they look like to me. Pretty, though!

This one is a wild bay frame overo Lonesome Glory - it's a popular mold, so he'll probably go high. Still, I can't help but wonder what he'd look like in gloss.

This one is a Semi-Rearing Mustang in a grullo tobiano with cat tracks. Cool, but it'd be nice if we could see the whole photo?

Ooh, now these are interesting, even if the mare's face is marked like a giraffe. The mare is a pearly chestnut leopard appaloosa and the foal is a pearly black leopard appaloosa. It'll be interesting to see what these sell for - they're a bit odd-looking, but cute nonetheless.

Ooh, I really like this one, especially the two-toned wings! The blog says he's a glossy metallic blue overo, but he looks like there's some green in the mane, tail and wings. Can't wait to see this one in person so I can get some photos! I wonder if the wings are removable? Usually they are, and it does look like they slot into his back. Someday will we get a more attainable winged release of this guy, since they've done at least one test like this before? I can only hope!

Well, this knocks a few more molds out of contention for the surprise - I'm going to guess it's Goffert at this point, unless he pops up as a raffle model or something. Speaking of raffle models, I can't remember if I've posted my raffle predictions yet, so here goes: Georg and Cancion. Would Breyer use two standing molds in the same year? Who knows, but that's what I'm going with. Guess we'll find out eventually!

In other news, this year's mid-year releases are now available to order on Breyer's website, though the new Strapless won't be shipping until August. I thought about ordering a Mojave, but I'm going to take my chances and hope they have him in the Breyer Store at Breyerfest since that's what I did last year. Here's hoping!

Edit: the rest of the auction models and the raffle models are now posted on the auction website! Check them out here. Looks like I was right about Cancion as a raffle model, but the other one is Fireheart! Gah!

There is a Georg auction model, though:

Along with the German Riding Pony, Carina and Selene, Anamar and the PAM. Notably, there's no Goffert...but also no Hamilton, so the speculation will continue. I'm sticking with Goffert, though! Hamilton is way too popular and doesn't need the surprise boost.

C'mon, do something...

Well, I have good news for Vintage Club members - this year's music box release, Rustler, is available for purchase!

Good job releasing him so close to Breyerfest, but it does give me something to post about, so I won't complain...too much. Anyways, the payment deadline is July 10, so you've got a little time to get it paid for.

In other news, things have been pretty dead in the Breyerfest department. Aside from exciting beer garden arguments and even more exciting car show arguments, there's not much going on in the Breyerfest sphere. So this is how I feel right now:

I really, really miss the days when we had a daily auction model reveal to help build the excitement for the event. Why did that have to go away? Now it's just...watching tumbleweeds roll by while pouncing on any tiny dregs of information Breyer decides to dole out. Maybe we'll get the program this week? Maybe the rest of the auction models will be in it? Maybe the raffle models will be in there too? Something's going to happen sometime, right? We leave in less than two weeks! Give us something, please!

Finally more auction models, and Cancion!

Greetings, readers! Exciting news- we finally get to see some more auction models today! Not sure why the photos are weirdly cropped, but anyways - behold:

It's a "Flaxen Liver Chestnut Frame Overo" on Desatado. Looks chalky, too, so I'm surprised they didn't mention that since they usually do. Nice color!

Ooh, this one I love! He's a "glossy, pearly reverse dapple blue roan" on Vermeer. He's amazing! Interesting that his head isn't solid black like a roan should be, but I love him anyway! I wonder how much he'll sell for.

Next is a "glossy rainbow pintaloosa with holographic harness." I guess it's hard to make the holographic part show up on camera, but dang, it just looks silver to me. Anyway, that's Pollock's colorway underneath the harness - looks pretty good on the Old Timer! He'll probably go pretty high. I like his blue hat, too!

Ooh, this is a really nice color on Bobby Jo (blue roan pintaloosa), and she even has a dark head! Very nice.

Lastly, this is a "silver bay tobiano" on Roy. He's not the most popular mold, but actually looks pretty good in this paintjob.

That's all of the auction models for today. Dare I hope the program is available this week? It was released on June 22 last year, so maybe it'll be released around the same time this year. Only 20 days until we leave! Woohoo!

In other news, Cancion is finally available for purchase!

I'm getting a glossy one, so I'll be putting in my order as soon as I get paid on Friday. Woohoo! I'm glad he isn't as delayed as Zafirah was last year. Let's hope the supply chain is getting back to normal? I've tentatively found a matte one to buy as well, so it'll be fun to see these guys in person. I hope they get here before we leave!

Also, my last set of Breyerfest tickets came, and sure enough - all Jump & Drive and Stagecoach Surprise tickets. So I'll be looking to trade for at least one Scurry ticket! Shouldn't be too hard to find one (I hope).

That's all I have for today - let's hope we get more exciting reveals tomorrow!

Breyerfest tickets are here!

Exciting news, everyone - my first set of Breyerfest tickets has arrived! I only got 3 in this order, so, behold:

My VIP book is blue, while this one is white, so they make a good contrast to each other.

I had completely forgotten I already wrote a whole post about my VIP ticket book, so uh, just ignore that it's also in these photos. So anyway, for these three tickets, I got three Jump & Drive tickets...

and three Stagecoach Surprise tickets. I honestly don't even remember exactly how I filled out all my tickets? I think Stagecoach Surprise was my first choice and Jump & Drive was my second choice, but now I'm hoping I don't get this assortment for my other tickets. I wish I'd kinda mixed things up a little bit and put the other stuff I want as my second choice for everything...but it's too late now, I guess. If I do end up getting a bunch more Jump & Drive tickets, it probably won't be hard to trade for the other ones, I suppose.

This isn't the case for this particular ticket book, but if you were supposed to get Wild Card tickets and ended up with a blank page like this instead, don't panic. There was a printing error with the tickets and Breyer has posted that replacement Wild Cards will be shipped to customers this week. They've asked that people not call them about it unless they haven't received their replacement Wild Cards by 6/30.

Lastly, here are the wristbands! Fun stuff. I'm going to have a lot more of these when my other six tickets get here. Speaking of those tickets, hopefully they come fast, because I'm getting super excited for Breyerfest! Only 23 days left until we leave!

Mid-Year Releases have been officially announced!

Good news, everyone - we finally have an official announcement of the 2023 mid-year releases!

See them all here. Two Trads and some CollectAs seems a bit...uh, meager, so let's hope they have some really exciting stuff coming up later on in the year! I'm kind of intrigued by that Fireheart beach towel, too. Maybe if they're in the Breyer Store at Breyerfest, I'll pick one up...

Speaking of Breyerfest, we only have 3 weeks to go until the grand event! Hooray! I'm getting really excited as the days count down until departure (24 days to go!). I was going to complain about the lack of auction model releases here, but I just looked back at last year's blog posts and it looks like we had to wait even longer for ANY auction model reveals last year, so...bleh. And the year before that we had to wait even longer! I really miss when they would do the auction model countdown - it seemed like it did a good job of building the Breyerfest anticipation! Maybe on Monday we'll get something.

My last CCA order is here!

Good news, everyone! My last Collector Club Appreciation box came today, in a huge box! About 10 minutes after I checked the tracking this morning, I glanced out the window and saw the UPS guy coming with a huge box on his shoulder. Ooh!

I didn't get photos of the rest of the order (Get Rowdy, Carltonlima Emma reissue, Palomino Classic Mason x2, Poetry in Motion Stablemate set, Horse Foal Surprise set), but here's my third and final glossy model:

That's right - glossy Peptoboonsmal! Huzzah! I went ahead and unboxed him along with everything else since I didn't end up getting any duplicates. I was hoping really, really hard that I wouldn't get a second Sjoerd. Based on the reaction I've been seeing online, it might have been hard to trade another one for something else! But all's well that ends well. Now I'll just have to see if I can find a glossy Adiah to buy or trade for at Breyerfest!

Speaking of Breyerfest...where the heck are the auction models?! I want more, more, MORE! We leave in 26 days, for Pete's sake! It'd be nice to see the program too, honestly. I just want more! Maybe tomorrow they'll give us something...

Collector Appreciation orders are here!

Greetings, readers! Good new - two of my Collector Club Appreciation orders are here! One of them was an order of just the glossy CCA model (just buying it outright) which I was glad to see was successful. So...here are the two glossy CCA models I received!

That's right - Sjoerd and Morganquest Native Sun! Woohoo, I didn't get doubles! Yet, anyway. I'm still waiting on a third order that's pretty much MIA right now - it's been shipped, but hasn't been updated since the "On the Way" scan from yesterday. That's the only one that had other models I actually wanted - the order I got today was a couple of Trads for resale, two pony pouches and a T-shirt I haven't tried on yet. So let's hope my third order gets here fast!

Auction models! We've got auction models! Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain

Alert, Breyerfest attendees! An email went out today that starting this year, Breyer will no longer be accepting cash in most purchases at the KHP during Breyerfest, with a few exceptions. Also, 6% sales tax will now be charged on purchases, rather than being built into the sale price as it always was prior. I'm a bit conflicted about this, but...gotta get with the times, I guess. There will be 3 reverse ATMs at the Horse Park (put cash in, get prepaid cards out, while supplies last), so that's something. I'll still be taking cash at the Clarion, but maybe I'll get a prepaid card before I leave so I don't have to depend on the reverse ATMs too much. Anyways, Breyer must have decided we needed a distraction from this news, so...here are some auction models! Behold!

Lot #1 is a beautiful black leopard appaloosa Ashquar! Be still, my heart. I love him!

Lot #2 is a glossy dapple chestnut sabino Pacer, which...would be nice, if it weren't for that, uh...oopsie with his front leg. I mean, maybe they did it on purpose so he wouldn't be so tippy? But like...wow, I'm kind of surprised the Pacer has only been an auction model four times before and the most recent of those was 21 (!) years ago. But anyway...that bent leg, oof.

Lot #3 is OH MY GOD FORGET WHAT I SAID ABOUT THE ASHQUAR, BE STILL MY HEART! I LOVE THIS ONE!! That looks like the Oasis tail to boot!

Lot #4 is a handsome gray pinto Huck that I'm oddly not that excited about. Maybe it's the mostly-white head?

Lot #5 and 6 are being skipped, I guess, probably just to annoy us. Anyways...

Lot #7 is a handsome chestnut splash Stretch Morgan. He looks chalky, to boot! And might have a blue eye? I like his white tail, too.

That's it for today's distractions - dare I hope we get more tomorrow?

Another Stablemates Club release!

Wow, we get another Stablemates Club release already! It doesn't seem like it's been that long since the last one. Anyways, this month's release is called Eclat! (Yes, yes, I know there's supposed to be an accent on the E, but I can't be bothered to figure out how to add it. Just imagine it's there.)

He's a nice color, but I decided to sell off my Traditional-sized MFT models a few years ago, and don't really want to start buying them again, Stablemate-sized or not. He does look like he has a bit of shimmer to his coat, though, so there's that. So if anyone wants to buy mine, let me know!

So many things to post about today!

Lots of exciting things to write about today, folks! I'll start off with the Collector Club Appreciation event! It went live at pretty much exactly 1pm EST today and doesn't seem to have sold out yet (or at least I haven't seen any posts about it selling out). Maybe the days of things selling out in 15 mins are a thing of the past? Let's hope so. Anyway, here's a pic of our four glossies! Drat, I need all four this time...

In the meantime, I did get two orders of merch in, and then decided to do a third order of just the glossy in hopes it'll go through like it did last year. I only have so much extra space for stuff I don't want. But anyways. I really wish backordered stuff was included with this, because I would have gotten a Sweetwater Zorah Belle if she wasn't backordered. Other than that, I ordered the new Carltonlima Emma, the Classic/Freedom Series palomino Mason, the gray pinto Stablemate Rearing Andalusian that was new for this year, the new Poetry in Motion gift set, the Horse Foal Surprise Family 13 since I don't have the Cantering Warmblood from that set, and a Get Rowdy to hopefully resell without too much trouble. Not bad! In my second order I got Adamek, Marc of Charm (shouldn't be too hard to resell those), a set of pony pouches (everyone needs some of those), and a T-shirt. I thought about getting more apparel, but I don't really wear T-shirts much anymore, I don't like the style of hoodie they sell and I don't really use much of the other apparel, so that was it for that order.

So, I'm hoping to get a decent selection of glossies from those three orders (or trade for them) and then just buy the fourth one. Kinda hoping that fourth one I buy ends up being the Sjoerd, since he doesn't seem too popular. But we'll have to see! I'm really excited about Morganquest Native Sun and hoping I get one! He'll be pretty in glossy.

In other news, now that it's Pride month, Breyer is doing a giveaway!

3 lucky winners will receive a Pollock model! I'm not going to enter since I already have one, but good luck to everybody!

Lastly, the sneak peek from Tuesday has been revealed! It's the Breyerfest Live overall grand prize!

So I was wrong about it being Georg - it's actually Roxy! Nice. Nothing I need, but she sure is pretty! Good luck to everyone trying to get her.

I wonder if the glossy prize models will be announced this week too? One can only hope!
