Madhuri is the BreyerFest Gateway to India crystal model and is based on the Working Cow Horse model (mold 731) originally sculpted by Morgen Kilbourn. Madhuri is named for a legendary Bollywood actress and dancer, Madhuri Dixit.
The technique for making the crystal models has definitely improved over the years - just compare Madhuri to something like Passion - but I won't be buying one all the same. The fewer breakable things in my house, the better. Madhuri is definitely better-looking than a lot of the earlier crystal horses, though - I'll give them that.
