More exciting reveals!

Well, readers, the new year is approaching fast, and the reveals are coming fast and furious as Breyer tries to clear out the warehouse and sign people up for the clubs. Firstly, the annual Warehouse Sale is happening now, and there are some pretty good deals to be had if there’s any items from 2024 that you haven’t purchased yet. Collector Club members have some extra models to choose from, such as less-popular Premier Club releases, Collector Club special runs, leftover Deluxe Collector Club Stablemates and more.

Secondly, there’s a full-body reveal of Cosimo, the Italian Stallion - and an unexpected surprise! 2025 Premier Club members will be able to choose between a matte and glossy finish for this release.

What a hunk! I like him a lot, which means it looks like I’ll have to get two Premier Club memberships for next year. Normally I wouldn’t, but I want both versions of Rowan anyway, so I’ll just have to find someone to buy two Winnifred’s and I’ll be set. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do something sneaky with the PC Stablemate for next year, too.I wouldn’t have thought Breyer would do two of these sort of releases in the same year, but don’t get used to it - I’m guessing this is a 75th Anniversary thing and we’ll be back to normal next year.

Lastly, we also got a tease of a Breyerfest Stablemate today!

The year is almost over, and Breyer is teasing us with a few Breyerfest-related things! Or one, anyway. What could they be using Augustus for? Probably one of the single day/general admission Stablemates, since those tend to be the second things revealed, after the Celebration Model. Hopefully we get to find out what it is soon! I’m also waiting to find out what the gambler model will be for the 2025 Stablemates Club. I’m hoping we get to see that tomorrow, since the end of 2024 is creeping ever closer.

Another Breyerfest Stablemate silhouette!

Another day, another silhouette…but this one is for Breyerfest 2024! Huzzah! It’s always great when they reveal things early.

Looks like they’ve decided to finally get their money’s worth out of the Cassidy mold. I wonder if she’ll get a RR release next year too? Anyway, I’m wondering if the descriptions on these are a clue as to what they’ll look like - yesterday’s mentioned a “green light” to speculate as to what it was (something car-related?) and today’s says we won’t have to wait a million years to find out what it is. That’s a relief, I guess. So…does that mean this one will be some kind of primitive dun? How does that tie into the Against All Odds theme? I’m no expert, but I don’t think Cassidy really resembles a Przewalski’s Horse at all, and that’s the only primitive breed I know of that’s survived to modern times. Guess we’ll find out next week.

I forgot to mention this yesterday, but Breyer’s yearly warehouse sale is going on now until 1/1, and Collector Club members get double the usual discount. So if you’re flush with Christmas cash, head on over to the website and do your part to help Breyer empty out their warehouse for the new year.

Warehouse Sale and first Breyerfest sneak peek!

Attention, readers! If you're still looking for some deals to round out your purchases for the year, Breyer's annual warehouse sale is happening now. In addition to the sale price for these items, some of them also qualify for the CLUBPLUS22 discount, so be sure to try that at checkout. Nothing terribly exciting in the warehouse sale this year, though now I'm wishing I'd waited to buy a few things. Oh well.

In more exciting news, there's a new sneak peek on the Breyerfest blog! Or, well...kind of a sneak peek:

I'm not sure if it really counts as a "peek" if we can see the whole model? But maybe we're supposed to be wondering if this is the Traditional Brishen or the Mini Brishen. The shape of his tail indicates it's the latter, and apparently Breyer posted on Instagram last week that the single-day Stablemates would start to be revealed this week, so that's what I'm going with. Yes, yes, I know this mold was a single-day Stablemate in 2019, but Stablemates being used as single-day ticket models within a few years of each other has happened many times in the past, so it can definitely happen again (not to mention the number of times the $&*#$ G2 Clydesdale has been used - seriously, give him a rest!). Anyway, I'm excited to see what this guy looks like! Let's hope we don't have to wait too long.
