Greetings, readers! More New Arrivals today. I'll start with the glossy bay roan Scandi Surprise:
The roan was my second favorite color, and he looks even better in glossy! So pretty.
Unfortunately, while it's a nice color, I have to rank the chestnut pinto last, because (I think) he's sort of plain compared to the rest of them. But your mileage may vary.
He looks a lot better in gloss! I think if he had some pearl in his whites, or flaxen mane and tail, or a bit of shimmer in his paint, I'd like him more. But, different strokes for different folks.

ReplyDeleteI've never been a real fan of the mold(I think I own a few though!)I'm leery of going for the Surprise model(Main reason--afraid of getting a mold that I don't collect or getting a color that I don't like!!)
This time wasn't so bad!! My 1st Surprise model --my bad luck held and I got the matte chest. Pinto. But after seeing the solid color ones, he grew on me!
Like everyone else, I was hoping for the appaloosa! For my 2nd Surprise, I almost *died* when I saw that I pulled a Gold decorator!! That never happens!
I did manage to trade another of my Breyerfest models for the matte black leopard appaloosa and I can't believe he's mine!! He's gorgeous!! Can't wait to "live" show this guy!! His color pattern is even better than the original Premier model was!! Call me one happy camper!!
