Lucien is here!

Good news, everyone! My Lucien model arrived today - check him out!



He's not as orange as I thought I'd be - and I really like him! But I have a feeling we're all going to be tired of buckskin by the time 2020 is over. I was surprised to see that he almost looks semigloss, as well.

I like the color progression on his right hind leg - buckskin to black to white to tan. Pretty striking! Although I have to admit that leg has always looked a bit oddly put together, but that might just be me.



Quality-wise, he's really nice - a couple of small issues here and there, but nothing major or worth trying to photograph. He's a beauty! Of course, now I have to find room for him on my already-full shelf...

Lucien is now available!

Huzzah! I knew it was worth waiting on ordering my other Priscilla! Lucien, this year's second Collector Club special run, is now available on the website!



I'm excited to see what this guy looks like in hand! Hopefully he doesn't take too long to get here - and for that matter, I hope I get a Priscilla that stands up on its own....

Breyerfest Closeups: Lucien

Hello, readers! It's time for our final Breyerfest Closeups post for this year. Today I'll be covering the upcoming Collector Club special run, Lucien!



He has an interesting pattern, and I really like his face.



And it's great to see another release on Valegro!



Doesn't look like his eyes are very detailed, but I guess that's to be expected for a collector club special run. At least his shoes are painted?



I hope he becomes available soon - I need to add him to the collection!



I like his two-toned tail, too. I can't help but wonder if part of the run will be glossy? They seem to like throwing us a curveball with that every once in a while. Although if that's the case I'd have to buy two of them. Maybe I don't want him to be glossy.

That's my last Breyerfest Closeups post for this year. If all goes well, Closeups will return after next year's Breyerfest with even more exciting new reveals!
