Well, looks like we’ll get to see the third Premier Club release for next year after all! Breyer released this sketch today:
My first thought: another pony? When we still need a true draft mare and foal? Meh. I’m not opposed to pony molds, but I’m not really into shaggy ones either. Then someone else pointed out that this pony looks fairly small, which makes me wonder if this will be a small pony set - because close to $200 is a lot for one small pony. I wonder what color this one will be?
Yeah there have been a lot of ponies lately, going back to FireFly and Astrid (2021), Nicholas (2022), Riptide and the Criollo (2024), currently with Rowan (2025). There have always been some, but this is a notable wave. I wonder if Breyer's saving money. Maybe a pony is a sign of hard times: A survivor and an easy keeper, plus cute, therefore harder to resist.
