Huh? Another Collector Appreciation event? Okay then...

 Good news, readers! If you didn't get a chance to participate in the Collector Club Appreciation event waaaaaay back in... checks notes June, now's your chance! 

As usual, you have to order $150 worth of merch and add the model to your cart, then use the code at checkout and you'll receive a randomly-selected glossy model with your order. There are nine glossy possibilities, but they're all glossies that have appeared before. Well, I don't think the 50th Anniversary glossies or the glossies offered in June sold out, so it makes sense. I'm just happy I already have the glosses I want, so I don't need to order anything! If you do order, good luck getting the glossy you want! I kinda suspect there won't be very many people ordering...

It begins...

 Well, I tried to resist...but the siren call of the pins overtook me, and...

Like a moth to the flame...sigh. It's been dang near a month since I ordered these, so I'm glad they're finally here.

Ironically (or not), it was the pin board that got me to order these, so of course mine is backordered and won't be back in stock until March. That's okay - maybe I'll get that at the same time as my Equidae, since our "local" (4 hours away) dealer apprently isn't getting their order until March either. But at least I have the Equidae pin to tide me over? Bleh. 

I think the Josiah is my favorite of these pins, though - it's hard to say no to that shade of blue. And since I don't have the interest or the shelf space for any bubble-butt Belgians on my shelves, a pin makes a nice substitute.

Ugh, I was so looking forward to putting all these pins on my pin board with my Breyerfest VIP pins! Well, I'll really be looking forward to next March now, I guess. Or probably April, with the way things are going. Hey, maybe I'll get it on my birthday...along with the additional pins I may or may not have ordered today...

Christmas morning surprise!

It's that time of year again - time for Breyer to post a Christmas Eve heads-up!



Usually they send out an e-mail, though. I wonder what the surprise will be? I'm still hoping for a candy cane zebra, myself. I guess we won't have to wait too much longer to find out what it is! And I get to unwrap my holiday horse tomorrow, too! Woohoo! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!

Merry Christmas from Breyer!

I got a mysterious email from Breyer about an hour ago!



Looks like we've got another Holly/Ivy situation on our hands. Wish I could remember what time they popped up on the website last year. So, we'll all have to keep checking Breyer's website all morning, instead of the usual Christmas morning activities. I suppose that's part of the mystique.

I wonder what the surprise is? Different possibilities flit through my mind - Holly/Ivy's color on Marabella, or another mold that doesn't get used very often? Red/Green Charm on the new Fell Pony? Some type of red and green variant of the Xavier unicorn in a run of 40, my worst nightmare? Or maybe something not holiday-colored at all, to throw us all off track.
