Be still, my heart

Greetings, readers! Well, it happened - the Best Customs Contest prizes were officially revealed today! Behold the grand prize, Lingonberry:

Troubadour looks amazing in chestnut! Ugh, I want him so bad!

And here's the runner-up prize, Gravlax:

He's also amazing in chestnut appaloosa! I don't even want to think about how high the silent auction lot for these is going to go. Anyways, that knocks Troubadour out of contention for the surprise model. I'm still thinking Vermeer, though I'm hoping for something I don't want so I don't have to figure out how to fit 10 surprise models into my luggage afterward!

  1. So the Reserve Champion (runner up) is a Stablemate?? said in the voice of someone who's never paid more than about sixteen dollars for a Stablemate, and thought that was high,... ... sigh,...

    1. Correct, Gravlax is a Stablemate. The silent auction set will likely go very high...

  2. *Sigh*!! Yet another unrealistic breed color!! Don't get me wrong!! The colors are beautiful!! I wouldn't mind owning these myself!! But as someone who "live" shows, what would you document them as? (Morgan's are more a solid color breed and I get sick of coming up with crossbreeds to explain the genetics)
I guess this will remind us that no matter how beautiful though, in the end, they're really just toys in the end!!

    1. Splash apparently does exist in Morgans, so I would show him as a Morgan. As for the mini Alborozo, I'd probably try him as a Tiger Horse or a Spanish Jennet.
